Many of these plants have been introduced species and are invasive "weeds" to most. However, being an alien species isn't necessarily bad in my mind, since many were introduced by settlers from Europe as food sources.

  1. WOW! Quite a list! To my dismay, I have to admit that I am only familiar with 8 of these! I may have to do a little research.

    My favorite here is the Alaskan wildrose AND the daisy. The daisies cover yards and big areas by the road and wherever! Some refer to them as "weeds..." hard to imagine! :)
